I grew up in the Dallas area, raised my family in Garland (two sons - Ryan and his older brother Todd), and then moved to Plano in 1998; so I've lived here all of my life.  I originally received my real estate license in 1980, but took a few detours after that;  working first in business management and then in education as the Director, and President of the Board, of a private school for 15 years... with some real estate practice in between.  After doing some world travelling for a couple of years, I decided that all my past experiences had really been preparation for the career I really wanted - to help people find their perfect home while making that process as easy as possible for them.  After encouragement from Ryan, I joined Keller Williams in 2006 and soon partnered with Ryan and his lovely wife, Sarah, on The Cave Realty Team.
   My life experiences (like working with parents and their children, managing a business and staff, even travelling) have all helped me to understand and appreciate the individual needs of my real estate clients.  These same experiences have also greatly enhanced both my negotiating and people skills.  My natural organizational abilities and strong work ethic have proven just as invaluable in real estate as they were in my other careers.
   My clients' needs are always my highest priority and my goal is to have every client feel that they have been represented in a very professional manner, with integrity as well as a very personal touch.  All the skills and abilities I have gained over the years help to ensure I am able to meet that goal. Most importantly, I truly love what I do and I strive to make sure it shows in everything I do.
