   I began my journey into real estate back in 2002. Since then, I've helped MANY clients buy and sell homes and learned a lot along the way. I'm very proud that, even as I grew my business, I stayed true to my beliefs (more on that in a minute). I also had the honor of serving on the Agent Leadership Council from 2006-2010 before deciding to take a year off to focus on my business. This council is comprised of top-producing agents and, among other things, we give back to our community and our fellow agents. I still enjoy working with both Buyers and Sellers and consider communication, negotiation, and attention to detail three of my strong suits. I hope to positively impact everyone I come into contact with and leave them knowing that there are some truly great real estate agents out there.
 
   This bring me to my beliefs: "Truth, Honor & Personal Integrity," but this is more than just a motto to me. These are ideals that are near and dear to my heart. I believe my parents instilled them in me, though the motto comes from my college days. Today, the ideals of "Truth, Honor & Personal Integrity" heavily influence my business and everyday life. I try each day to combine these ideals with my enthusiasm, strong work ethic and years of experience to exceed all expectations.

   While I was in college studying for a degree in Biology, I would often help out my boyfriend (now my husband) Ryan with his real estate business as he became busier and busier. It started off with small administrative tasks and it eventually grew to more regular assignments. When I finally graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Biology, I started to look at what I wanted to do for my “career.” I quickly realized that my career had already begun (in real estate) while I was looking the other way.
   I have been working with Ryan since 2005 and every day in real estate is a new adventure. Being a Dallas native, it has been particularly pleasing to see our community expand and improve as much as it has over the past few years. I cannot wait to see all the new development over the next few years and it makes me proud to be a small part of it!

   I grew up in the Dallas area, raised my family in Garland (two sons - Ryan and his older brother Todd), and then moved to Plano in 1998; so I've lived here all of my life.  I originally received my real estate license in 1980, but took a few detours after that;  working first in business management and then in education as the Director, and President of the Board, of a private school for 15 years... with some real estate practice in between.  After doing some world travelling for a couple of years, I decided that all my past experiences had really been preparation for the career I really wanted - to help people find their perfect home while making that process as easy as possible for them.  After encouragement from Ryan, I joined Keller Williams in 2006 and soon partnered with Ryan and his lovely wife, Sarah, on The Cave Realty Team.
   My life experiences (like working with parents and their children, managing a business and staff, even travelling) have all helped me to understand and appreciate the individual needs of my real estate clients.  These same experiences have also greatly enhanced both my negotiating and people skills.  My natural organizational abilities and strong work ethic have proven just as invaluable in real estate as they were in my other careers.
   My clients' needs are always my highest priority and my goal is to have every client feel that they have been represented in a very professional manner, with integrity as well as a very personal touch.  All the skills and abilities I have gained over the years help to ensure I am able to meet that goal. Most importantly, I truly love what I do and I strive to make sure it shows in everything I do.

   I met Ryan and Sarah Cave several years ago when I lived across from them, but only knew them on a 'wave and say hi' basis.  When I moved from the area, it was the Cave Team I called upon to sell my house.  I was extremely impressed with the friendly professionalism of the Team, and amazed when I had an offer on my home in 6 days, despite being in the start of a recession.  When I began making plans to move back to the area, Ryan was one of the first people I contacted.  In the 'everything happens for a reason' category, Ryan and Sarah had recently decided to add an Administrative Assistant to their Team.
   I am so thrilled to be working with a Team whose ideals and ethics mirror my own.  I am proud to bring my blend of positive attitude, professionalism and strong work ethic, and be a part of the Team that made such an impression on me.
